It has come to our attention at Love Leeds Hate Bates, through a couple of interesting messages, that their are some Leeds United supporters who want a slightly different approach, a kind of “Love Leeds Debate Bates”. Here at LLHB we think that is an excellent idea and we look forward to someone else taking up that slack. For the benefit of clarity, we have no issues with that, we don’t own the words that make up the name of our site or campaign. We wish any such group that wants to articulate the wide spectrum of opinion on the man the very best of luck. LLHB can never claim to speak for all Leeds United fans, how could it, if all supporters recognised the seriousness of the club predicament under its present ownership no doubt something would have changed by now and we would be redundant. So as they say in China, “let a thousand flowers bloom”, just be aware LLHB is here for a variety of reasons but running a LLDB is not one of them.
